The Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins d’Alsace/Wines of Alsace Board (CIVA) will for the first time present its bi-annual Millésimes Alsace as a hybrid in-person/virtual event entitled the Millésimes Alsace DigiTasting® on June 7-9, 2021. This expansive program will provide wine professionals around the world the opportunity to explore the full experience of Alsace wines from their homes or offices.

As with all major wine fairs and tastings scheduled for 2020, Millésimes Alsace was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As wine organizations grapple with supporting their members and presenting the new releases, virtual events, held one time or in a series, have popped up as a tasting event pivot. Millésimes Alsace DigiTasting® is one of the greatest efforts of its kind, featuring 100 producers and on-demand sampling kits.

Visitors can search and select wines to taste from among the 100 wineries and 400 wines using filters including wine name, color, sweetness level, vintage, grape variety, appellation, and distribution importer, environmental practices, etc. Visitors will also be able to chat virtually with any producer, even if they did not order a tasting kit. You may order tasting kits until May 2, 2021.
