Craft Spirits Spotlight Gold Star Reviews

Charbay Brandy No. 83

This brandy was double-distilled in Alambic Charentais Pot Still from 100% Folle Blanche, the classic grape variety of Cognac, then aged in new French Limousin and Nevers Oak barrels for 27 years. The result is one of the finest brandies you will ever experience. A deep amber in the glass releases mellow aromas of dried fruit. It has a buttery, long finish with vanilla and a mellow oakiness on the palate. The oak is very well balanced with no harshness or overwhelming smokiness. You’ll experience nuts and spices in the long finish that will have you reach for that second glass.
