Smith-Madrone’s vineyards, founded in 1971, sit on top of Napa Valley’s 2,000-foot Spring Mountain. Cool temperatures and volcanic stony clay loam produce estate wines of exceptional personality and depth. Three wines were tried from Smith-Madrone.

2017 Riesling
The 2017 Riesling has rich floral aromas of lime, crisp apple, barrel oil, and melted wax, while your palate is in for a treat with flavors of honey, dried Turkish apricot, and stone fruit. This year’s Riesling shows excellent balance, bright minerality, acidity, and crispness.
