Ashlen’s Bio:

Ashlen Wilder is a food writer and author that covers the future of food, restaurant technology, and sustainable agriculture. Working on farms in Hawaii, Costa Rica, and California first ignited her passion for food, and her food writing career began at The Spoon, a publication covering news in the food technology space. She is the founder of FutureFoodie.tech, a food technology publication geared towards young readers, and her first book, a travel cookbook, is called “Vegan in a Van: Healthy, Plant-Based Recipes on the Road.” She is currently writing a second book on food and sustainability.

Ashlen’s fascination lies at the intersection of food and traditions and how we can adopt a more sustainable and mindful approach to consumption, ensuring a better future for future generations. Her goal at Santé is to carry on the 27 years of tradition at the magazine while bringing a fresh perspective in order to connect to a younger audience. Originally from Santa Barbara, California (a wine region best known for its Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs!) Ashlen travels full-time in search of the world’s best food, wine, and mezcal.

Emiliano De Laurentiis is a distinguished educational and publishing entrepreneur with a career rooted in a profound passion for media and technology.
