Exceptional Spirits Showcased

Bar Convent Brooklyn is one of the premier spirit shows in the country. Every corner of this remarkable event introduces attendees to a cornucopia of flavors, stories, and experiences, making it an indispensable gathering for spirit enthusiasts and professionals alike.

During my visit, I bumped into the legendary Dale DeGroff, who was introducing his New World Amaro. It was thrilling to see such a luminary sharing his latest creation. I also had the pleasure of encountering the esteemed mixologist and philanthropist, Tony Abu Ganim. Both Dale DeGroff and Tony Abu Ganim have graced the covers of Santé Magazine, and it was delightful to see their enthusiasm when they noticed their cover images on the back of my business cards.

While exploring the event, I was most impressed by Campari’s incomparable marketing prowess. Not only do they own some of the most iconic spirits brands such as Campari, Aperol, and Cynar (a personal favorite), but they are also experimenting with a Campari-branded Negroni RTS and new Campari flavors. Their ability to innovate while maintaining the integrity of their heritage brands is truly unparalleled.

Cristalino Tequila also left a strong impression. Their bottle, designed in the shape of a laboratory flask, is a unique and eye-catching detail that would stand out on any table. The innovative presentation, combined with the quality of the tequila, makes it a memorable addition to any spirit collection.
