Rather than sipping tequila on its own this fall, why not use some seasonal ingredients to make some memorable cocktails? Since Halloween is upon us, these drinks are perfect for the tequila lovers at your holiday parties.
We used Flecha Azul Reposado Tequila in these recipes – we feel that among the myriad of tequila options available, this one stands out as embodiment of excellence and refinement. APPLE SOUR MARGARITA
Ingredients
2oz. Flecha Azul Reposado Tequila
2oz. Apple cider
1oz. Lime juice
1oz. Triple sec
1/2oz. Agave syrup
Rim of glass:
1tsp. Granulated sugar
1/4tsp. Cinnamon
1/2tsp. Sea salt
Directions:
Rim the glass by running a line wedge over the lip. On a separate shallow plate combine cinnamon sugar and salt. Dip glass. Fill the glass with ice. In a cocktail shaker, add cocktail ingredients. Shake well. Garnish and pour.
TEQUILA SOUR
Ingredients
2oz. Flecha Azul Reposado Tequila
1oz. Lemon juice
1/2oz. Lime juice
1/2oz. Agave nectar
1 Egg white
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Directions
Add the tequila, lemon juice, lime juice, agave, bitters and egg white to a cocktail shaket without ice. Shake for 15 seconds. Add ice to the cocktail shaker. Shake again for 39 seconds. Strain into a glass with foam on top. Serve with a lime wedge and a cocktail cherry.
TEQUILA NEGRONI
Ingredients
1oz. Flecha Azul Reposado Tequila
1oz.Campari
1oz. Sweet Vermouth
Orange twist for garnish
Directions
Pour ingredients into a rocks glass over ice and stir until well mixed. Garnish with an orange twist.
